This collaboration highlighted IceMOS's dedication to showcasing its state-of-the-art Silicon Engineering Substrates for various MEMS and Optical applications.

Dr. Rami Zakaria, Sales and Marketing Director at IceMOS Technology, gave a presentation on Trench Isolated Silicon-On-Insulator (SOI) wafers and their transformative applications in Optoelectronic Devices. Dr. Zakaria shared insights into the significant reduction in chip area achieved through the use of deep trenches with a high aspect ratio, moving away from traditional isolation methods involving junctions.

The presentation highlighted the advantages of Trench Isolated SOI wafers, including the elimination of factors such as high device capacitance and the ability to prevent parasitic diodes and other undesirable paths. IceMOS's commitment to innovation and efficiency was evident as the company aimed to redefine industry standards and contribute to the evolution of Optoelectronic Devices.
